SAP BASIS MANAGER

My client has a requirement for an experienced SAP Basis Manager to join their project.The SAP Basis Manager is a technology leader, passionate about operating and delivering enterprise-class services. This role requires a commitment to operational excellence, service management and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of SAP infrastructure architecture, a passion for problem solving, strong relationships skills, application development experience and the ability to successfully collaborate cross functionally.

Tasks:

·Ensuring Service Operations, Knowledge Management, Continuous Improvement, Service Level & Availability Management are operationalized across the team.

·Managing vendors to deliver 24 x 7 technical support, resolving infrastructure issues, optimizing services and ensuring the availability and performance of critical business systems

·Providing quality and timely resolution of defects/ problems & addressing service requests through the use of service management.

·Establishing a technology refresh roadmap, with visibility into future technology inflection points and budgetary requirements

·Partnering with Business & Solution Architects to identify opportunities for improved customer service, increased agility and availability.

oImplement and maintain SAP System monitoring solutions (SOLMAN)

oManage, maintain and optimize the SAP Infrastructure.

oDesign and implement new SAP System integration solutions.

oManage and Implement user security concepts across multiple SAP systems.

oImprove the standardization in SAP Infrastructure.

oImplementing a shared SAP BASIS organization, leverging best practices to optimize efficiency across the portfolio

oRunning an agile-based request management workflow, focused on maximizing velocity, improving quality and reducing backlog.

Profile:

· Experience in SAP installation and maintenance for ERP, APO, PO, CRM and SOLMAN

·Expertise in Application Performance Management solutions is required

·SAP Certifications in BASIS and Solution Manager are desired

·Experience with SAP HANA and DB2 is mandatory

·ABAP and JAVA programming skill is desirable

·Experience with SAP CHARM is highly desirable

·Experience supporting AIX, Linus and MS Windows, DB2 and SQL is beneficial

·ServiceNow expertise is desirable

·Ideally experience with similar system landscapes in a multinational environment.

·Willingness for work effort out of regular working time (weekend, night)

·Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables (documentation, presentations, proof-of-concepts, etc.)

·Solid interpersonal skills, positive contributor to team chemistry and relationship with business partners.

·Solid reporting and presentation skills.

·Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree desired.
